      In large-diameter, medium- to high-pressure industrial pipeline networks of the DN600 class, traditional triple-offset butterfly valves have always suffered from an insurmountable performance shortcoming—whilst they provide a stable seal under forward pressure, they are prone to leakage under reverse backpressure. In scenarios such as reverse flow of the medium, water hammer in the pipeline, or bidirectional process flows, seal failure can pose a safety hazard to the entire pipeline. This PN25 DN600 manually operated, butt-welded, triple-offset metal hard-seal butterfly valve has been specifically designed to address this challenge. Built upon a structural foundation of a WCB carbon steel body combined with a CF8M stainless steel disc—a gradient material combination—and equipped with an all-metal hard-on-hard sealing pair and bidirectional full-range sealing technology, it elevates the sealing reliability of large-diameter high-pressure butterfly valves from ‘unidirectional compliance’ to a new standard of ‘zero leakage in both directions’. This provides a benchmark-level solution for fluid control under all operating conditions in heavy-duty pipeline networks. 

Product Advantages

   ● Overcoming the unidirectional sealing limitations of traditional triple-eccentric butterfly valves, it employs a symmetrical conical metal-to-metal hard-seal design. Both the valve seat and disc sealing surfaces undergo surface hardening and matched lapping, resulting in high hardness and excellent wear and erosion resistance. It can withstand long-term exposure to high-temperature steam, hot oil and particulate-laden media, with a temperature range far exceeding that of soft-seal valves.
  ● It utilises a full-penetration welding process for direct butt-welding of the valve body to the pipeline, eliminating vulnerable sealing components such as flange gaskets. Following welding, the pipe and valve form a continuous, unified pressure-bearing unit, completely eliminating the risks of flange leakage and gasket ageing or failure.
  ● Based on the classic triple-eccentric design principle, the triple offset configuration—comprising an eccentric spindle, an eccentric valve body centre and an eccentric sealing cone angle—ensures that the sealing surface of the disc remains in complete contact-free operation with the seat throughout the entire opening and closing rotation. Contact occurs only at the fully closed position, where the conical surfaces make precise contact, thereby fundamentally eliminating wear on the sealing surfaces during operation.
