     This manual flanged double-eccentric soft-seal butterfly valve is made from a single piece of CF8M ultra-low-carbon molybdenum-based cast stainless steel, It features a dedicated EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) elastic seal seat. Leveraging a proven double-eccentric low-friction opening and closing mechanism and ANSI-standard flange connections, it delivers comprehensive upgrades across four key dimensions: base material corrosion resistance, seal weather resistance, effortless operation, and secure connections. Custom-designed for medium-pressure, large-diameter outdoor water supply, municipal, and public utility applications, it provides a high-flow fluid control solution characterized by long service life, low maintenance, and high reliability.

Product Advantages

    ● Features an embedded EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) soft-seal seat that is precisely mated to the valve body, ensuring a secure fit with no risk of detachment and a uniform seal thickness around the entire circumference. When closed, the EPDM relies on its excellent elastic deformation to form a tight seal against the CF8M butterfly disc. The sealing pressure is evenly distributed, achieving bubble-level zero leakage across the entire Class 150 pressure range—no micro-seepage at low pressure and no collapse at high pressure—thereby addressing the industry-wide challenge of low-pressure leakage common in large-diameter hard-seal valves.

    ● The flange sealing surfaces are machined in a single operation according to American standard precision requirements, with strict control over flatness and surface finish. When paired with specialized sealing gaskets, they achieve a highly reliable static seal. Standardized interfaces facilitate easy alignment during installation, and the valve can be independently disassembled and reassembled for maintenance or replacement without affecting the main pipelines on either side. This significantly reduces downtime and operational risks associated with large-diameter valves, aligning with the standardized operation and maintenance schedules of large-scale trunk line projects.

    ● To address the self-weight of the 22-inch large-diameter butterfly disc and the opening/closing resistance caused by medium pressure differentials, the worm gear transmission ratio has been specifically optimized. Featuring a heavy-duty multi-tooth meshing structure, it delivers excellent torque amplification efficiency. A single operator can easily complete the full 0–90° opening and closing cycle and fine-tune the valve opening by turning the handwheel. The operating torque is uniform and smooth, no stuttering, and no dead spots, dispelling the common perception that large-diameter soft-seal valves are cumbersome to operate.
