Standard 304 valve bodies are prone to intergranular corrosion cracking after welding; large-diameter soft-seal valves suffer from high opening and closing friction, leading to premature seal failure and leakage; while hard-seal valves exhibit poor contact at low pressures, resulting in micro-leakage. The combination of these multiple shortcomings frequently creates a dilemma when selecting the right valve for specific operating conditions. This PN10 DN250 flanged triple-offset soft-seal butterfly valve features a valve body and disc cast as a single piece from 316L ultra-low-carbon austenitic stainless steel. It seamlessly integrates a triple-offset frictionless opening and closing mechanism with an elastic soft-seal system. With core performance characteristics of full-chain corrosion resistance, zero leakage at low pressure, and long-term durability, it delivers a high-standard fluid control solution for low-pressure, high-flow clean and mildly corrosive applications.

    ● It employs a high-performance, corrosion-resistant elastic soft-seal seat that forms an elastic sealing pair with the 316L stainless steel disc. Leveraging the material’s inherent elastic deformation capability, it generates sufficient and uniform sealing pressure even under PN10 low-pressure conditions, achieving bubble-level zero leakage. This addresses the common issue of micro-seepage in hard-seal valves under low-pressure conditions and fully meets the stringent “zero drip” requirements for clean media and environmental protection applications.

   ● The valve body and both end flanges are integrally cast from the same 316L material, eliminating welded joints and dissimilar-material connections. This avoids common industry issues such as preferential corrosion in welded areas and the accumulation of dirt and debris; the flow-through surfaces are smooth, continuous, and free of dead corners.

   ● To address the opening and closing resistance associated with the large DN250 butterfly disc, the worm gear transmission ratio has been specifically optimized. Combined with a 316L stainless steel valve stem and a multi-pivot friction-reducing support structure, torque is transmitted efficiently and smoothly, A single operator can easily complete the full 0–90° opening and closing cycle and fine-tune the valve opening by turning the handwheel. The operation feels smooth and consistent throughout, with no sticking or jamming, shattering the conventional perception that large-diameter valves are difficult to operate.
