In the actual operation of industrial process branch lines and medium-sized municipal pipeline networks, the media often exhibit both corrosive and abrasive properties—ordinary 304 soft-seal butterfly valves are prone to puncturing and aging when exposed to impurities, while carbon steel hard-seal butterfly valves lack sufficient corrosion resistance, making it difficult to balance long-term corrosion protection with wear and abrasion resistance. This flanged worm-gear-driven triple-eccentric butterfly valve features a valve body and disc constructed entirely of 304 stainless steel as a corrosion-resistant base material, with the seat sealing surface overlaid with high-hardness Stellite cobalt-based alloy. Precisely engineered to meet the PN16 nominal pressure and DN250 standard bore specifications, it provides a long-term fluid control solution for medium- and low-pressure applications that is “corrosion-resistant without rusting and wear-resistant without leakage.
Product Advantages
● he hard-seal pair structure, featuring Stellite alloy overlaid on the valve seat, differs from ordinary embedded seals. The sealing layer is metallurgically bonded to the 304 base material, ensuring it will not loosen or peel off even under long-term thermal cycling, significantly enhancing structural reliability.
● The valve features an integrated flanged body design, with both end flanges cast as a single piece from the same material as the valve body. This ensures high machining precision and excellent flatness at the end faces; when paired with sealing gaskets, the load is distributed evenly around the entire circumference, further ensuring reliable sealing performance.
● The valve employs a classic triple-eccentric three-dimensional rotary design. Through the triple misalignment of the shaft center, valve body center, and sealing cone angle, the sealing surface of the butterfly disc remains free from contact or scraping with the valve seat throughout the entire opening and closing rotation, making precise conical contact only at the instant of full closure.
