   4A duplex steel is inherently chlorine-resistant, PTFE is impervious to acids and alkalis, with a 12-inch large-bore flow path and precise 150LB pressure rating—for low- to medium-pressure pipelines carrying chlorine-containing, seawater or acidic process media where pipe ends must be sealed off. Combining the corrosion resistance of a material with a yield strength twice that of 304 stainless steel with the chemical inertness of PTFE, it forges a leak-free, dead-end fortress that can be shut off at a moment’s notice.

Product Advantages

   ● The valve body and disc are made entirely of 4A duplex stainless steel, comprising approximately equal parts ferritic and austenitic phases, with a PREN value of ≥34. This provides inherent immunity to chloride ion pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, ensuring a service life in seawater that far exceeds that of 304/316 grades.
  ● The lug-type design features integral threaded holes, allowing downstream pressure to remain unrelieved during disassembly; a single valve serves dual purposes at pump outlets, tank bases and reserved ports.
  ● The double-eccentric structure ensures that the valve stem axis is offset from both the centre of the disc and the centre of the valve body passage; as the disc rotates, it moves away from the seat, meaning the PTFE seal ring is virtually unaffected by scraping during opening and closing, resulting in a service life several times longer than that of traditional centre-line butterfly valves.
