Product Features

    UB6 contains niobium (Nb, ≥8% by weight), which combines with carbon to form stable niobium carbide (NbC). This fundamentally ”locks in" the carbon, preventing the precipitation of chromium carbides during welding or heat treatment that could lead to intergranular corrosion. This property allows for direct welding repairs or hardfacing of sealing surfaces during valve manufacturing without compromising corrosion resistance. UB6 exhibits excellent resistance to both oxidative and moderately reductive corrosion.

Product Advantages

  ●The sealing surfaces of hard-seal butterfly valves are made of metal. The resulting all-metal sealing pair combines the comprehensive corrosion resistance of the UB6 base material with the ultra-high hardness and wear resistance of the overlay layer, enabling it to withstand continuous erosion by media containing solid particles. The lug-type design requires only one set of bolts per lug, minimizing tightening effort and maximizing installation efficiency; simultaneously, it allows for relatively lenient requirements regarding pipeline coaxiality during installation, facilitating future pipeline expansion and system retrofits. The double-offset design reduces opening and closing torque by approximately 50% compared to center-symmetrical butterfly valves, making manual operation smooth and effortless. Smaller-sized pneumatic or electric actuators can also be selected as options, thereby reducing drive system costs.
