Product Features

   The valve body is made of WCB cast carbon steel, offering high strength and excellent rigidity. Carbon steel has excellent machinability and weldability, facilitating the surfacing of hard alloy sealing surfaces inside the valve body and the installation of various actuators. 316 stainless steel contains 2% to 3% molybdenum, making its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion significantly superior to that of 304, particularly in corrosive environments such as those containing chloride ions, salt spray, or marine atmospheres. The use of 316 material for the butterfly disc effectively prevents issues commonly associated with carbon steel discs, such as rusting and flaking of rust scales that can contaminate the medium, providing stronger corrosion and rust protection on the medium side.

  ●The hard seal offers outstanding corrosion and rust resistance. The 316 disc resists chloride ion pitting corrosion and can operate stably over the long term in environments containing trace amounts of chlorine, humidity, or slight acidity, avoiding the rapid rusting issues associated with carbon steel discs. Each lug requires only one set of bolts, minimizing tightening effort, improving installation efficiency, and reducing the number of gaskets and fasteners needed. The double-offset design ensures the disc disengages from the seat the moment it opens, resulting in virtually no sliding or scraping between the metal sealing surfaces throughout the entire opening and closing process, which significantly reduces wear.
