Product Features

  The valve body is made of WCB cast carbon steel, offering high strength and excellent rigidity. Carbon steel offers excellent machinability and weldability, facilitating the surfacing of hard alloy sealing surfaces inside the valve body and the installation of various actuators. The disc is made of 304 stainless steel, which contains 18%–20% chromium and 8%–10.5% nickel, providing excellent corrosion resistance in air, water, steam, and various mildly corrosive media. The use of 304 material for the disc effectively prevents the rusting and erosion of carbon steel discs by mildly corrosive media, significantly extending the disc’s service life and preventing rust contamination of the medium.

Each lug requires only one set of bolts, greatly simplifying the tightening process, improving installation efficiency, and saving on gasket and fastener costs. The double-offset design ensures the disc disengages from the seat the moment it opens. Throughout the entire opening and closing process, there is virtually no sliding or scraping between the metal sealing surfaces, significantly reducing wear. This is the key to the long service life of all-metal hard-seal butterfly valves.
