All products have been inspected and qualified in accordance with the relevant standards before leaving the factory, and the actuator has been debugged. To ensure the use effect of the product, do not arbitrarily adjust fasteners, positioning devices, etc.

Pre-installation Work

• Ensure that the indicator arrow on the valve body is consistent with the direction of the medium flow in the pipeline; do not install it in the reverse direction.

• Check whether the pipeline flange is consistent with the valve connection flange. During installation, tighten the nuts evenly and place the flange gasket symmetrically.

• Carefully check whether the working conditions are consistent with the working pressure, working temperature and corrosion resistance of this product.

• Check whether there is any dirt attached to the valve channel and opening/closing parts; if so, clean it, and do not damage the sealing surface during cleaning.

• Check whether all parts of the valve are loose or damaged.

• This valve is unidirectionally sealed and rotates 90°, with 0° being fully closed and 90° being fully open. Check whether the opening and closing positions of the valve are consistent with this and check for any jamming.

Operation and Maintenance Guidelines

• This valve can not only shut off the medium but also adjust the medium flow arbitrarily.

• For manual operation: clockwise is closed, counterclockwise is open. Pay attention to observing the position pointer or indicator dial scale during operation.

• If a fault occurs during the use of the valve, find out the cause in time and eliminate it; do not knock or force the opening and closing.

• If the pipeline is to be subjected to a strength test after installation, the valve should be in the fully open position.

• If on-site inspection of the valve is required, it should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB13927-92 or JB/T9092-99 standards.

• If the valve is opened and closed frequently, regularly add lubricating grease to the actuator.

• For information on electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, please refer to the operation manual provided by the corresponding actuator manufacturer.

• Avoid collision during the transportation of the valve to prevent damage to the sealing surface or actuator.

• When the valve is stored for a long time, it should be placed in a cool and dry place, with the disc in the 5°~7° open position, both ends sealed, and then covered. Valves shall not be stacked without packaging.
