tin tức mới nhất của công ty về “Cavitation Damage” in Real Life

The cavitation phenomenon is a "hidden killer" that must be tackled in modern industry and engineering:

The "nightmare" for submarines: When the propeller of a submarine rotates at high speed, cavitation is highly likely to occur. The intense noise generated when the bubbles collapse can easily enable sonar systems several kilometers away to pinpoint the submarine's location.
Reduced efficiency of pumps and valves: After the impeller of a pump in a chemical plant or water pumping station is affected by cavitation, the blades become incomplete. Not only does the efficiency of the pump suffer greatly, but it can also cause severe vibrations in the pipelines.
Tests for water conservancy projects: The water flowing through the spillway of a dam is extremely fast. If the design is improper and cavitation occurs, the violent falling water can create a deep pit several meters deep at the bottom of the concrete spillway channel.

To combat cavitation, engineers have come up with many ingenious solutions:
Optimizing flow channel design: Designing the valve core, impeller or propeller to be more streamlined to avoid excessive flow velocity and low negative pressure in certain areas.
Anti-cavitation materials: Using wear-resistant titanium alloys, stainless steel, or coating with high-molecular elastic polymer materials (utilizing elasticity to absorb micro-jet impacts) at locations prone to cavitation.
Adding air to reduce cavitation (a water conservancy trick): Introducing air at the bottom of the dam's spillway. Since air is easier to compress than water, introducing air bubbles can act like a cushion to absorb the energy of shock waves, significantly reducing damage to the concrete.
